Data Collected by the Website

When you purchase a Pro license or submit a contact form on dpdpshield.app, we collect the following information:

• Name — to identify you as a customer and personalise your license key.
• Email address — to deliver your license key and respond to inquiries.
• Hospital / organisation name — to associate the license with your institution.
• Machine ID — a 12-character hex identifier derived from your computer, used to bind the license to a specific machine.
• Payment information — processed by Razorpay. We store the Razorpay order ID and payment ID but do not store card numbers or bank details.

How We Store Your Data

All data collected through the website is stored in a Neon DB (serverless PostgreSQL) database. Access to this database is restricted to authorised personnel only. We retain order records for the duration of your license and contact submissions for as long as necessary to respond to your inquiry.

Desktop Application

The DPDP Shield desktop application operates 100% offline. It does not collect, transmit, or store any personal data. It does not make network requests, send telemetry, or phone home. All audit data remains on your machine and is never shared with us or any third party.

Third-Party Services

The website uses the following third-party services:

• Razorpay — for payment processing. Razorpay handles card and bank details under their own privacy policy.
• Resend — for transactional email delivery (license keys and contact notifications).
• Vercel — for website hosting and serverless function execution.
